5 Stars: Ovulation Test Strips and Pregnancy Test Kit - 50 LH and 20 HCG - OPK Ovulation Predictor Kit iProven FK-127
My husband and I have been trying to conceive (TTC) for over a year now. This kit by iProven is a great "starter kit" for those trying to conceive. Buying the tests at the store can start to get really expensive. This kit is is $21.20 on Amazon right now.
I have to say the best feature of this kit is the literature that is included. One side of the literature talks about how the pregnancy test works and when is the best time to test and also has FAQs (frequently asked questions). The other side explains how OPKs work and the best time of the month and day to test. Like I said, I've been TTC for a while and I didn't know there were better times of the day to test. I also would just kind of guess what day of the month to start testing. I never thought about it, but apparently the day you should start testing for ovulation is different based on the normal length of your cycle. There is a really handy table on the paper that gives this information.
One thing to note, you will need to provide your own urine collection container. I bought some of the small plastic cups (3 oz) and use those to collect the sample.
This one has 50 ovulation prediction tests (OPKs) which can last a couple of months. I usually use somewhere between 8 and 10 a month. It also has 20 pregnancy tests which again should last a couple of month. My usually on these is about 5 a month.
The pregnancy tests are blue dye tests which my doctor told me seem to be more accurate with less false positives than pink dye tests. (This refers to the color of the dye that makes the lines on the test.) It all also comes in a nice box to keep them organized. Other brands I have bought came in envelopes of plastic bags.

I received this product at a discount for my honest review.
