Headphones are one of those things that are always disappearing or breaking.  I have been using some cheap ones ($0.99 a pair) and I've been getting what I paid for.  They usually only last a couple of weeks of use.  I saw these headphones on Amazon and thought I'd try them out.  They were more than I normally spend ($9.50), but I thought I'd give them a chance.


One of my favorite things about these headphones is that they came with their own carrying case.  This makes it very easy to store them and toss them in my bag.  I don't have to worry about them getting damaged with the books and whatnot I carry in there, too.


The headphones also came with several different sizes of ear tips, including a set of noise-proofing ones.  It also came with over the ear hooks, if you are like me, and constantly struggling with earbuds falling out of your ears.  I swear I have weird ears.  I love the noise-proofing ones. They are made of the same kind of foam that earplugs are (they are in the upper left corner below). They worked so well, I couldn't hear my husband talking to me when we were in the same room!


The headphones also a feature an in-line mic, so I can take calls while listening to music.  I'm glad I took the chance on these headphones.  They were worth the money.

My husband and I are trying to conceive so the doctor asked me to start tracking my BBT (Basal Body Temperature). I bought these lights to put in my yard so that there was light, but I didn't want extension cords across the yard.  These lights are about 30 feet long.  They are $10.99 on Amazon . The unlighted part of the power cord is about 80 inches long or almost 7 feet long.  This made is easy to run the lights up the tree trunk.   The lights have 8 different modes.  My favorite is the slow fade one.  Another nice feature is that the lights have a sensor to turn on when it gets dark and turn off when it gets light.  I don't have to go turn them on or off all the time.   These would also work great in the fairy light jars that are so popular right now and since they don't require being plugged in, the jar can sit anywhere there is ambient light to charge them. After watching a lot of videos about how great the black mask is, I thought I'd give it a try.  I found this one from Dermatique on Amazon and it was listed at a best seller.   It was very easy to apply.  The consistency is like white school glue.   I didn't put on as a thick a layer as many of the videos I watched because the instructions said a thin layer.   My skin felt so soft afterwards.  I know some people have reported that it hurt to remove the mask, but I didn't find it horrible.  It hurt a lot less than waxing. I have sensitive skin.  As you can see in my pictures, my face was red in the areas where the mask was.  It wasn't itching, swollen and I didn't get hives so I'm assuming that it was red because of the pulling off process.  Since it does pull, I would suggest avoiding areas with thin skin (especially in us ladies over 30) like around the eyes.  Also, try to avoid getting in your hair.  I got some in my eyebrows and it was diffi
