I bought this set because I wanted to try the loofah out.  It was a bonus to get the back scrubber and the mitt scrubber.  The whole set is $10.99 on Amazon . The scrubber part of all 3 is made from a natural gourd.  The loofah even still had some seeds on the inside.   Dry, they feel really hard and rough, but a quick run under the water and they soften up nicely.   Dry I have really sensitive skin - if I lightly run my nails over it, I get huge red scratches - but these are gentle enough to not irritate my skin.   Wet The backing material on the back and mitt scrubbers are very soft.  I really liked the handles on the back scrubber.  It made it easy to hang on to while rubbing it back and forth on my back. These kitchen shears have replaced the ones that came with my knife block.  $9.95 on Amazon is a pretty good deal for a nice set of kitchen shears. The shears have a really comfortable rubber handle which is nice when trying to cut through tough things like skewers or bone.   They are labeled as having 8 functions, although I probably will never use some of them. Not only are they shears, but they also have a peeler, fish scaler, can opener, screwdriver and nut cracker.  I have never scaled a fish and I'm not sure when I may need a screwdriver while cooking, but those options are there.  The blades are really sharp and they can come about for easy cleaning and for using the peeler and scaler.   They aren't super heavy, but still feel substantial.  They also come with a sheath that has a strong magnet on the back.  The magnet was strong enough to hold the sheath and the scissors firmly on my fridge without sliding or fallin...

I was tired of moving my cables from room to room and from home to work everyday so I bought this package.  It comes with 3 10 foot cables and is going for $15.99 on Amazon right now. Each cable is wrapped in braided nylon which makes them stand up better to daily wear and tear and movement.  The rubber wrapped ones always start to fray near the ends of the cables for me.  The previously cable wrapped cords never had that problem and so far these are holding up well.   Since they are all so long, I can have my phone or tablet plugged in and charging and I don't have to be right next to the wall plug.  I have one by my bed, one by the couch and one on my desk at work.  I am very happy with the quality and the price of these cables. These are micro-usb so the will work on any Samsung device, like my phone and tablet.  They also charge my wireless headphones and my camera. I was in need of an new eyebrow brush and I was tired of the teeth breaking off in my makeup bag.  These combs, by Ibeauti, fold into the handle, so teeth breakage in my bag is no longer a problem.   I found them on Amazon for $10.95 for the set of 3.  The body is made of strong plastic and the teeth are made of metal.  Since they are metal, they won't break easily, but if you brush too vigorously, they will scratch your face.  Speaking from experience here.   Folded, they measure about 2.5 inches long.  Unfolded, they are about 4.5 inches long.   Since this is a package of 3, I can leave one in my makeup bag and 1 in my each of my bathrooms.  I love them! I have always had a hard time getting ear buds to stay in my ears.  I normally buy the ones that go over the back but these headphones by EverDigi fit nicely into the ear without going around the back.  They are going for $17.99 on Amazon which is on par with other headphones like them.   The headphones connected quickly and easily to my phone.   The noise canceling was amazing.  I was cooking dinner and my husband walked up behind me and I couldn't hear him talking.  I don't play my music very loud because I'm always concerned with hearing loss.  My husband uses them when he mows the lawn and he said they work beautifully.  Saying this, these probably shouldn't be worn in situations where hearing could save your life like crossing a busy street.   The charging cable is only about 6 inches long, but it uses a micro-usb, which is the same as my phone so I have plenty that are longer.  They fit comfortably in my ear and was ...

This laundry basket by Vremi is great for a laundry room with very little storage.  I rated it at 4 stars instead of 5 because at $31.99 on Amazon , it's a little pricey. The white parts are made of hard plastic and the red parts are flexible silicone.  I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the silicone is when it is fully extended.  I was expecting it to not be able to hold itself up, but it handles like a fully-plastic basket.   The best part about this basket is it can be collapsed down to about 3 inches tall.  It slides very easily between my washer and dryer for storage between uses.   This would be perfect for a college student or someone who does not have a lot of storage space in their house.  I think I have found a new go-to gift for college graduates and newlyweds.  I received this product at a discount for my honest review.

I was in desperate need of some new clippers.  I like this set because it includes toenail, nail and cuticle clippers in one package and all for only $11 on Amazon .   They come in a metal box which makes for great storage for the clippers.   They are all made of stainless steel and you can feel the quality.  They have a nice weight to them.  The clippers are very sharp and make quick work of trimming my nails.   This is the first set of toenail clippers that I have been fully satisfied with.  Others I would have to clip several times for them to actually cut through my nail or they would just end up tearing them.  With these, they cut clean through on the first try.  I received this product at a discount for my honest review.

My dogs have learned how to open cabinets so I was looking for an easy to use cabinet lock system. I found this magnet system on Amazon by Toplus for $12.99.  These cabinet locks stick on with 3M tape so there is no need to damage cabinets with screws.   They way these work is one piece goes inside the cabinet with a hook that keeps the cabinet closed.  You place the "key" (a round knob looking piece) on the outside of the cabinet over the hook and the hook releases.   Since the key is magnetic, we keep it on the fridge so we don't have to worry about losing it.  Since these stick on with 3M tape, they are easily removed, too.  The plastic feels really sturdy and like it will last a while.  The package also comes with extra 3M tape should you need it.  There is also a "switch" to keep the cabinet unlocked if you desire.
