4 Stars: Majestic Pure Sandalwood Essential Oil is Extracted from Santalum Album, East Indian Sandalwood, 100% Authentic Aromatherapy Oil, 1 fl. oz

I've been using essential oils for almost 2 years now.  I make mixtures to help with health issues like congestion and headaches and I've recently gotten an oil diffuser that I use oils in, too.  I bought a small starter kit to begin with and I've been adding bigger bottles of the scents I love the most and/or use the most.  I love the smell of sandalwood.  I live in the woods and it reminds me of taking walks in the fall when I can smell the wood, the earth and smoke from fires in the distance.  I wanted to be able to bring that smell inside, too.  

Majestic Pure's Sandalwood Oil can be considered on the expensive side at $19.99 for 1 fluid ounce.  Honestly, I'm such a cheapskate that if I hadn't gotten a deal on this bottle, I wouldn't have even considered it.  I checked out the brand on a blog I check out frequently for my essential oil needs and she said the money is well spent on the Majestic Pure brand.

This oil smelled heavenly!  The bottle came with a dropper which made it very convenient for transferring the oil to my diffuser.  It has a beautiful amber color and thick consistently that showed to me that it was pure oil and not oil mixed in water.

Sandalwood has a ton of great properties.  It is good as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antiphlogistic, antispasmodic, astringent, cicatrisant, carminative, diuretic, disinfectant, emollient, expectorant, hypotensive, memory booster, sedative and tonic substance (Source: Organic Facts).  This particular bottle says it should not be taken internally, but I plan on using it externally or in my diffuser so this won't be a problem for me.


I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion.

I bought these lights to put in my yard so that there was light, but I didn't want extension cords across the yard.  These lights are about 30 feet long.  They are $10.99 on Amazon . The unlighted part of the power cord is about 80 inches long or almost 7 feet long.  This made is easy to run the lights up the tree trunk.   The lights have 8 different modes.  My favorite is the slow fade one.  Another nice feature is that the lights have a sensor to turn on when it gets dark and turn off when it gets light.  I don't have to go turn them on or off all the time.   These would also work great in the fairy light jars that are so popular right now and since they don't require being plugged in, the jar can sit anywhere there is ambient light to charge them. After watching a lot of videos about how great the black mask is, I thought I'd give it a try.  I found this one from Dermatique on Amazon and it was listed at a best seller.   It was very easy to apply.  The consistency is like white school glue.   I didn't put on as a thick a layer as many of the videos I watched because the instructions said a thin layer.   My skin felt so soft afterwards.  I know some people have reported that it hurt to remove the mask, but I didn't find it horrible.  It hurt a lot less than waxing. I have sensitive skin.  As you can see in my pictures, my face was red in the areas where the mask was.  It wasn't itching, swollen and I didn't get hives so I'm assuming that it was red because of the pulling off process.  Since it does pull, I would suggest avoiding areas with thin skin (especially in us ladies over 30) like around the eyes.  Also, try to avoid getting in your hair.  I got some in my eyebrows and it was diffi
