I have suffered from insomnia for years.  It started when I was in college taking a full load and working 3 jobs to pay tuition.  I survived on naps and never really got  full nights sleep.  If I had known that a habit from 15 years ago would haunt me today, I would have rethought messing up my sleep habits so much.  I've tried Ambien and Lunesta but hated the hallucinations, nightmares and hungover feeling I got from them.  About 2 years ago, I started taking Valerian and melatonin together and it has helped me immensely.  I fall asleep easily and sleep like a rock.  Although the combination works, Valerian has a distinctive smell that can be very off-putting.  It smells like the nastiest, smelly feet you can think of and that smell sticks to anything it touches.



I found Sleep EZ Now on amazon and was interested in the fact that it had several things known to help induce sleep all in one capsule.  Each capsule contains GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid), Valerian, Melatonin, Passion Flower and Lemon Balm.   Each of these things are found in nature and have been used for insomnia for centuries or are produced naturally in the body.  



These capsules worked exactly as expected, but without the nasty smell.  I took the capsules and was sleepy within 30 minutes of taking them.  The capsules smelled like ground up herbs, but didn't reek of stinky feet!  Since they are capsules, they are easy to swallow.  


I gave these 4 out of 5 stars because of the cost per bottle.  I can buy melatonin and valerian separately for a total of about $10.  One month's supply of these runs $19.99.  That isn't an outrageous price, but living on one income requires we save money where we can.  (As of today, they are on sale for $5.97 a bottle.  I've ordered 4 bottles because I don't know how long this price will last.)

My husband and I are trying to conceive so the doctor asked me to start tracking my BBT (Basal Body Temperature). I bought these lights to put in my yard so that there was light, but I didn't want extension cords across the yard.  These lights are about 30 feet long.  They are $10.99 on Amazon . The unlighted part of the power cord is about 80 inches long or almost 7 feet long.  This made is easy to run the lights up the tree trunk.   The lights have 8 different modes.  My favorite is the slow fade one.  Another nice feature is that the lights have a sensor to turn on when it gets dark and turn off when it gets light.  I don't have to go turn them on or off all the time.   These would also work great in the fairy light jars that are so popular right now and since they don't require being plugged in, the jar can sit anywhere there is ambient light to charge them. After watching a lot of videos about how great the black mask is, I thought I'd give it a try.  I found this one from Dermatique on Amazon and it was listed at a best seller.   It was very easy to apply.  The consistency is like white school glue.   I didn't put on as a thick a layer as many of the videos I watched because the instructions said a thin layer.   My skin felt so soft afterwards.  I know some people have reported that it hurt to remove the mask, but I didn't find it horrible.  It hurt a lot less than waxing. I have sensitive skin.  As you can see in my pictures, my face was red in the areas where the mask was.  It wasn't itching, swollen and I didn't get hives so I'm assuming that it was red because of the pulling off process.  Since it does pull, I would suggest avoiding areas with thin skin (especially in us ladies over 30) like around the eyes.  Also, try to avoid getting in your hair.  I got some in my eyebrows and it was diffi
